While we were in NC, we also visited my dad and his wife for a few hours. Dad retired in the last year, and I must say, I think it has been really good for him. We had a nice time catching up, but the highlight was definitely Phillip getting to ride in my dad's restored vintage truck. Phillip was literally beaming when they came back from the ride. It was a nice afternoon.
